Accomodation: HWB Facilities
The facility where you will be living during your housebuilding experience is commonly referred to as the Annex. The Annex is adjacent to the orphanage we partner with, Casa Hogar de los Ninos. Please respect the orphanage's space, and remember that there are 50 - 75 children living right next door to you! Keep in mind also that the Annex is used by 30+ groups of 15 - 250 people during the course of one building season.
You are welcome to move things around as bests suits your group, however please return everything to it's rightful place, and make no permanent alterations as what works for one group doesn't necessarily work for another.

Please note: designated sleeping spaces all consist of hard cement or wood flooring. Sleeping bags are required; thermarests are highly recommended.
The Courtyard
The courtyard is located just behind the gates as you pull up to the facility and surrounded by the Annex buildings. The courtyard is the place to park vehicles, load/unload supplies, have program (for summer groups), and eat meals, and gather (in dry weather). Your portapotties, aka banos, will also be located in the courtyard.
Casa Blanca
Casa Blanca is located to the left as you enter the courtyard; it is a white house. Casa Blanca can be used for sleeping, program, and mealtime in wet weather.
The Pool
This is an olympic sized swimming pool, however it is not filled anymore, and it's new wood floor is used for sleeping space. The Pool is located behind the tool shed and is accessed by following a walkway to the left and around the shed.
The Clinic
The clinic is a building with 5 rooms located to the right as you enter the courtyard. One room has the large freezer and room for food/paper product storage. The remaining rooms can be used for sleeping space. If an infirmary is needed, one of these rooms will work well.
The Kitchen
The kitchen is located staight across from you as you enter the annex. It is equipped with commercial refridgerator, convection oven, 6 burner stove & double oven, coffee maker, mixer, sinks, and counter space, as well as shelves for food storage. The Supply Shed
The supply shed is located across the courtyard and slightly to the left as you enter. The supply shed is a two story building where building materials are stored. For more regarding the supply shed go to Supplies.
