Building materials will be ordered for you upon registration and delivered to the annex in time for your build.
Some of the tools you will need for your project are available at the Annex for you to use. In addition, your group will need to bring a tool kit for each site team to use for the project.
The Supply Shed
The supply shed is a two story building located in the Annex. The ground floor rooms contain lumber and paint, as well as most common use tools. The upper story is where you will find nails, paint supplies, tarring supplies, and miscellaneous useful items. This shed is used by nearly a thousand people every year, so please keep the following points in mind as you are using and looking for needed supplies in the shed.
- Please return items to same spot they were taken from.
Please do not return opened paint, opened boxes of nails, or used tar guns, brushes or rollers to the shed (or even to the annex). They can be given to the family you are building for. Assign a few people at the beginning of the week to oversee the shed. These people should familiarizing him or herself with where things are in the shed, help people find gear during loading time, oversee proper replacement of items upon return (e.g. shovels into the right bins) and make sure shed is locked upon departure during the day and at night.Keep door locked when the shed is not actively being used.
